Dave Rendall is a speaker, author, leadership professor, stand-up comedian, and endurance athlete. During the last ten years he has spoken to hundreds of audiences throughout North America, Australia, Africa, Asia and South America.  Prior to becoming a professor and speaker, he managed nonprofit enterprises that provided employment for people with disabilities.  He has more than fifteen years of experience leading people and organizations. David has a doctor of management degree as well as a graduate degree in psychology. His first book was The Four Factors of Effective Leadership. His second book is The Freak Factor: Discovering Uniqueness by Flaunting Weakness.

Stosh D. Walsh serves others as a writer, executive coach, consultant, and speaker throughout North America and Europe.  His past clients include Microsoft, Hewlett-Packard, Ann Inc., US Bank, McKinsey and Company, Banana Republic, Northrop Grumman, Kohler and the United States Federal Government.  He has experience as a classroom teacher from middle school through college, and earned a BA in Education and an MA in Leadership.  His mission is to be a force in the lives of others.  In pursuit of this mission, Stosh maintains an active coaching, speaking and writing schedule.  His other interests include hiking, photography, and spending time at home in the Chicago suburbs with his wife and 2 children.  In December 2012, he released his first book, “Along the Way: Leadership Stories from Everyday Life”

Matt Langdon builds heroes. As the creator of the school program, The Hero Construction Company, and the upcoming book, The Hero Handbook, he is well-established as an expert in the study of modern heroism. He’s an Australian living in Michigan and has been known to beg for good chocolate.

PaulOkrayAfro-Cuban Taiko Project

Afro-Cuban Taiko Project was founded in 1998 by Music Teacher Paul Okray.  The group consists of Middle School and High School students from the Marinette Public Schools.  The group performs music from around the world, but specializes in music from Ghana, Africa, the Caribbean Islands, and Taiko Drum Music from Japan.  The mission of the group is to promote lifelong learning through world music.  Each year they provide free concerts and workshops to audiences in the State of Wisconsin and wherever else they may be touring.  This year they are on a campaign to tour in Miami, Florida.

Paul Okray, the director, has been a Music Teacher at Marinette Middle School since 1997.  He currently teaches 5-8 grade General Music, but has also taught Choir, Show Choir, and produced many musicals.  Paul received has Bachelor’s degree in Music Ed. from UW-Madison and a Masters in Music Ed. from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh.

Profile1Jeffrey Lewis

Jeffrey Lewis is a 2011 graduate of Marinette High School and is currently at the University of Wisconsin- Madison studying Industrial and Systems Engineering- Decision Science and Operations Research with a minor in International Engineering- French. He is interested in exploring how engineers can lead multidisciplinary groups to find creative solutions for the century’s most complex technical and nontechnical challenges.  While at Wisconsin, Jeffrey was the Student Representative for Strategic Purchasing at the Office of the Vice Chancellor’s Administrative Excellence Project. He continues to work with many diverse groups of people in student government while serving on the Legislative Affairs, Shared Governance, and Nonresident Tuition Appeals Committees. In addition, he is also a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars and the Institute of Industrial Engineers. When he is not busy Jeffrey enjoys communicating with fellow university francophones and sampling the vibrant art scene in Madison.

Jonathan Haines is a 2010 Marinette High School Graduate, and is currently finishing up his Junior year at St. Norbert College in DePere, WI. He is majoring in Graphic Design, with an emphasis in Photography. He has always found enjoyment from being in front of a group people and entertaining on the stage.
